PD-43-0132; SmartPacs Hardware Modernization

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division is conducting market research for the modernization of SmartPacs hardware and software on the LCS 2 class of ships under an anticipated Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Respondents must submit a capability statement of no more than five pages detailing their ability to deliver the required systems, including Non-Recurring Engineering to update hardware and software configurations, integration design documentation, interface control documents, software design descriptions, ship installation drawings, and integrated logistics support products such as technical manuals, planned maintenance system cards, provisioning documentation, and training materials. The modernization effort requires seamless integration with the Ride Control System and associated subsystems, adherence to NAVSEA Standard Items, and onsite installation and system integration testing during constrained Chief of Naval Operations availabilities coordinated with Alteration Installation Teams and ship’s force. The anticipated ordering period is five years beginning at time of award, with performance to be conducted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
