Peace Corps Overseas IT Hardware - Request for Information

This is a NOTICE OF A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Notice does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or an Invitation for Bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government to any ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay for any information that may be submitted by respondents to this Notice. This Notice is to request information from industry to assist the Peace Corps in its need to provide an Internet-based solution for sharing and managing documents and other types of information among Peace Corps staff, Volunteers, and counterparts distributed among 76 countries around the world. There are three distinct phases and purposes to be served by the project. Requirements: Please see attached documents for a description of the Peace Corps' requirements. Information Sought: Please see attached documents. This information submitted should not exceed 20 pages (no marketing material) and should clearly support your ability/qualifications to deliver the required products/services. Mr. Robert Combs is the designated Contracting Officer for this Notice. Respondents are requested to provide questions to this RFI by 9:00 a.m. EST, on April 27th. Responses will be issued shortly thereafter. All respondents' final input is required NLT 9:00 a.m. EST, May 16, 2012, via electronic mail to the attention of Robert Combs at rcombs@peacecorps.gov.
