The Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Section, on behalf of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, (Procuring Agency) will receive bids until 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time on August 14, 2026, through the Public Purchase online bidding system for the Pennock Wildlife Habitat Management Area (WHMA) Fence Conversion, located at Saratoga, Wyoming. Project Description: This project will consist of removing 5.64 miles of 8’ elk fence and removing 4.7 miles of stock fence. All materials must be removed and disposed of at the Saratoga Landfill. The Saratoga Landfill is open Monday- Saturday 8am - 5pm. Located at 41.45376, -106.7601. Metal products may be removed by contractor for scrap if desired or deposited at designated metal piles at the Saratoga Landfill. The contractor shall rebuild 10.34 miles of fence with No - Clipz fence system. Braces to be built every quarter mile or where needed due to topographical needs. Corners and gate locations will require double braces. Steel posts will be placed every 36’ and placed 2’ into the ground, stays will be placed every 12’, alternating between black and white. Wire spacing specifications from the ground up are (18”, 26”, 38”) smooth, barbed, barbed. The work window is June 1 - November 14 for the duration of contract.
