The President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Country Coordinator (the Coordinator) in Angola is responsible for the leadership, facilitation of the PEPFAR interagency country team management, coordination of the strategy and implementation planning as well as communications among the U.S. Government (USG) departments agencies (State Department, Centers for Disease Control Prevention (CDC), Department of Defense (DOD) and (USAID) United States Agency for International Development) involved in the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in Angola. The Coordinator receives direction from the U.S. Ambassador to Angola on policy and decision-making authority from the Global Health Security and Diplomacy/PEPFAR (GHSD/PEPFAR).
