Permit No. 20055 – Patrick Shea Conservation Bank Project

The project involves the removal of an existing vineyard on approximately 142 acres of a 167-acre property to establish a Conservation Bank dedicated to protecting and enhancing habitat for the valley elderberry longhorn beetle. Native vegetation including blue elderberry, Fremont cottonwood, box elder, interior live oak, Oregon ash, black willow, valley oak, and coyote bush will be planted to restore and support a functional riparian ecosystem. The existing irrigation infrastructure will be preserved to sustain the newly established habitat.
