Eastern Municipal Water District's (EMWD) Perris Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility (PVRWRF) provides the Perris Valley region with wastewater treatment services. As a result of rehabilitation PVRWRF is currently undergoing, EMWD staff observed that Secondary Clarifier (SC) 6 and SC 8 were experiencing severe deterioration and required immediate repairs. SC 5 was also inspected and the gate, plugged drain lines, and steel structure are in need of repairs. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of existing clarifier mechanism components, bridge and scum hopper, weirs and scum baffles, and drive unit. Beneficiaries of this project are EMWD ratepayers.
