The request for proposal is intended to be posted for a period of 40 calendar days. It is an open bidding competitive process. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) requires the professional services of a contractor for a two-day classroom or online training course for IRCC employees who are to travel overseas to certain higher risk countries. The supplier will be responsible for the customization, preparation, and delivery of sessions during the contract period. The course should train the candidate through a variety of scenarios including threats while commuting, vehicle accidents, natural disasters, security in hotels, security online and social media, petty crime, armed robberies, security in taxis, carjacking, checkpoints, express kidnapping, kidnapping, sexual assaults, civil unrest, assaults, active shooters, and terrorism. The process is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract. Bidders that meet all mandatory criteria and provide the lowest price will be recommended for contract award. Estimated contract period: Three (3) years + two (2) one-year options Initial contract period: April 1st 2025 to March 31 2028 Option year 1: April 1st 2028 to March 31st 2029 Option year 2: April 1st 2029 to March 31st 2030 The estimated contract period is from April 1st 2025 to March 31 2030 (including 2 one-year option periods.)
