Pfeiffer A100 L Pump

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), under the Department of Commerce, is procuring a single Pfeiffer Vacuum A100 L Pump, Model Number A100L31324, with Catalog # 2000038181 / A100L BT 1S PL 16P V3.7, to replace a failed unit used in a dilution refrigerator system. The pump must meet exact technical specifications including a pumping speed of 100 m³/h, ultimate pressure of 0.012 hPa, DN50 ISO-KF input and DN25 ISO-KF output flanges, a physical footprint of 600 mm x 280 mm x 300 mm, an SPI 16-pin interface, and ¼” NPT quick connect water connections. The equipment must be a direct replica of the existing unit to ensure seamless integration with current infrastructure, and no prototypes, used, refurbished, or demonstration models will be accepted. Delivery is required within twelve weeks after receipt of order, with shipment to be FOB Destination, packed in original manufacturer packaging with all original documentation and software, and marked per carrier requirements to ensure safe arrival at NIST’s Gaithersburg, Maryland facility. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror using a pass/fail evaluation process where technical compliance is mandatory and non-negotiable. Offerors must demonstrate exact meet or exceed of all specifications through referenced citations from product literature or technical documentation; failure to cite compliance will result in rejection. Quotations must be submitted electronically via email to Elizabeth Timberlake and Tracy Retterer by 12:00 PM Eastern Time on June 16, 2026, and must be organized into three volumes: Technical Quotation with compliance mapping and manufacturer authorization evidence, a separate Price Quotation, and a third volume addressing contract clauses. The contract requires full SAM registration, active UEI and CAGE codes, and adherence to all federal compliance standards including Buy American, trafficking in persons, organizational conflict of interest, and prohibitions on inverted domestic corporations and delinquent tax liabilities. Payment is strictly Net 30 days upon official Government acceptance, with invoices submitted via IPP system to INVOICE@NIST.GOV without advance payments.
