Please note that late submissions will not be considered or accepted. Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has requirement to rehabilitate pedestrian walkways and other asphalt surfacing at the Edmonton Institution for Women (EIFW) in Edmonton, Alberta. The scope of work includes the following: Roadway Scope. 1. Rehabilitation and selective reconstruction of pedestrian walkways, emergency access points, and maintenance yard within the EIFW site. Scope of work includes but is not limited to: selective demolition, selective grading to improve drainage, granular base course, cold milling existing asphalt pavement, asphalt surfacing, catch basin adjustments, and landscaping of disturbed areas. 2. Areas of work include the following sites: a. Area 1 Emergency Vehicle Access – Surfacing Rehabilitation. b. Area 2 East Courtyard Walkway -Surfacing Rehabilitation and Selective Reconstruction. c. Area 3 Courtyard Walkway – Surfacing Rehabilitation. d. Area 4 CSC Maintenance Yard – Surfacing Rehabilitation & Catch Basin Adjustments. e. Area 5 Program Trailer 3 - Site Grading to improve drainage. Rehabilitation areas are located within EIFW’s secured area and bidders will be required to adhere to CSC security requirements and submit to daily checks of tools and equipment.
