This work should be represented as: Pink Mountain Intersection Improvement from approximately Km 225 to Km 227 of the Alaska Highway (Highway 97) in Northern British Columbia. The project scope encompasses miscellaneous intersection and access improvements. Work under this Contract generally includes, but is not limited to, the following services:
Widening of the highway embankment and pavement for auxiliary lanes and left turn bays;Improvements to a section of Cypress Creek Road adjacent to the highway;Closures of access and removal of their embankments crossing the existing ditches;Replacement of culverts under accesses;Supply and installation of earthworks, granular materials and asphalt;Topsoiling and seeding embankments;Removal and re-installation of roadway signs;Removal and disposal of roadside concrete barriers and supply and installation of the same;10. Installation of pavement markings and rumble strips;Traffic control;Other miscellaneous tasks required to complete the works.
