ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS   Sealed bids are requested by The ARC of St. Charles, Inc. from qualified contractors for the construction of:                                                           Phase I – New Maintenance Building                                                           The ARC of St. Charles, Inc.                                                           13771 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, LA                                                           Project No. CBA 2403   Bids will be received at the ARC of St. Charles, Inc., Main Offices, 13771 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, LA either by registered or certified mail with return receipt requested or hand delivered or electronically at www.centralbidding.com no later than 2:00 p.m., Local Time Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the ARC of St. Charles, Inc. Conference Room, 13771 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, Louisiana.   Complete Bidding Documents which include the Contract Documents may be obtained from the Architect, CB Architecture, 117 Panther Run, Destrehan, LA  70047, (504) 338-8007 upon payment of a deposit of $200.00 per set of documents.  The deposit will be returned as provided in the Instruction to Bidders.   Bids must be accompanied by a bid security at least equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond.   A Pre-bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 10:00am at the ARC of St. Charles, Inc. Main Offices at 13771 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, LA.  Attendance at the Pre-bid Conference is Mandatory and required to submit a bid.   Contract, if awarded, will be on the basis of the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, if within budget.  No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after bid opening except as provided by law.  The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.  Certificates of Insurance will also be required as specified.   Bidders must meet the requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractor’s Licensing Law, R.
