The purpose of this project is to replace and upgrade the Rooftop HVAC Units (RTUs) for Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta dorms. The current RTU's are corroded, not performing as required and obsolete. It is the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) objective that the RTU systems be of high quality, coastal weather resistant, and durable, exceeding minimum standards for commercial/industrial HVAC systems and incorporating the latest technology and practices for the equipment types and uses. The equipment, materials, and installation shall provide an appropriate level of quality to ensure the continued use of the generators over the expected life of the equipment and materials being used.
