Solicitation SPE4A6-27-T-9101, issued by the DLA Weapons Support ASC Commodities Division, is a request for quotations for 19 units of spring pins under NSN 5315-00-058-9765. The items are defined by military or consensus non-government part standards, specifically referencing NASM171401 through 171900 Revision 4 and drawing 13873 EI-000589765. This is a critical application item requiring manufacture according to the current revision of the applicable part standard. The procurement is set as FOB Origin, with both inspection and acceptance occurring at the origin. The original required delivery date is December 19, 2027, with a need ship date of November 5, 2026, and a delivery window of 102 days after order. The contract mandates strict adherence to quality and packaging standards, including MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging and MIL-STD-129 for marking. Manufacturers must maintain inspection systems complying with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001. A key restriction prohibits the use of additive manufacturing processes for the production of these items. Additionally, the contract specifies that mercury or mercury-containing compounds must not be intentionally added to the hardware. Award evaluation includes a price preference for HUBZone small businesses. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and compliance with various FAR and DFARS clauses regarding cybersecurity, domestic sourcing, and the safeguarding of covered defense information.
