Amendment #1: Summary The Peace-Liard Business Area of British Columbia Timber Sales is proposing a tree planting contract for the 2026 summer season. The proposed contract is planned for approximately 974,760 summer trees to be planted, with Forest Investment Program (FIP) trees totaling approximately 32,000 for this contract. Net Area to be Reforested (NAR) for this contract is approximately 613 hectares. This contract has a start date of July 5, 2026, and all trees must be planted no later than July 31st, 2026.The proposed summer trees will be allocated over 25 cutblocks in the Dawson Creek Timber Supply Area (TSA) of northeast British Columbia, near the communities of Dawson Creek and Tumbler Ridge.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Peace-Liard Business Area of British Columbia Timber Sales is proposing a tree planting contract for the 2026 summer season.
