Bid #020-23-078: The project consists of replacing the HVAC system at Placer Hall at the 20th DAA / Gold Country Fairgrounds. The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, and materials, with the exception of owner-furnished HVAC equipment. The scope of work includes the demolition and removal of existing roof-mounted evaporative coolers, suspended gas-fired heating units, and associated ductwork, electrical, and gas piping. The contractor is responsible for installing new owner-furnished ground-mounted packaged gas/electric HVAC units, which involves constructing concrete equipment pads, installing new supply and return air duct systems, modifying gas piping, and setting up new electrical service connections and panels. Additionally, the project requires structural modifications, such as roof patching, and improvements to meet Title 24 energy compliance, including insulation replacement. Additive alternates include HVAC upgrades for the bathroom/ventilation and kitchen areas.
