This Presolicitation Notice is being posted in advance of the solicitation for Plate Carrier Generation III (PC Gen III) Soft Armor, which is expected to be released in May 2019. Information contained in this notice is subject to change. No proposals are being requested at this time. MCSC Program Manager for Infantry Combat Equipment (PM ICE) requires a Berry Amendment compliant, Soft Armor Component to the PC Gen III. The Soft Armor Component of the PC Gen III consists of ballistic material capable of meeting the specified performance requirements and a cloth cover, in accordance with PC Gen III Soft Armor Performance Specification. Draft documents will be posted to FBO as they become available and that Government anticipates the RFP to be released within 90 days of the notice.
