Metropolitan Utilities District will receive sealed bids through the District’s ProcureWare website https://mudomaha.procureware.com until Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 10:30 AM at which time, the bids will be publicly opened and read in the Operating Center Lobby Conference Room “A” (3100 South 61st Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska 68106) for furnishing of all supplies, materials, equipment, labor and superintendence for the following Project:
PLATTE WEST WATER PRODUCTION FACILITY CHLORINE FEED SYSTEM UPGRADES, M.U.D. Group No. WP2169 / Job No. 100035000008.
All bids will only be accepted electronically through the Procurement Portal.
Nebraska Foreign Adversary Prohibition Act. The Bidder certifies and agrees that it has read and shall comply with the Nebraska Foreign Adversary Contracting Prohibition Act (Neb. Rev. Stat. §§73-901 to 73- 907). Specifically, Seller verifies and agrees (1) that Seller is not a scrutinized company as defined in Neb. Rev. Bidders can download Contract Documents free of charge from MUD’s online Procurement Portal at https://mudomaha.procureware.com/home starting at Noon on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 AM local time on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the Platte West Water Production Facility at 21212 West Q Road, Omaha, NE, 68022. Prospective Bidders, Suppliers, and Subcontractors are encouraged to arrive at 8:45 AM to minimize congestion when checking in at the security gate. Visitors will need to present a Government Issued (Driver’s License) photo ID. Any visitor without proper ID will not be allowed on site.
A site visit of the Chlorine Storage Room and other areas associated with the project within the water treatment plant is scheduled following the pre-bid conference.
Representatives of District and Engineer will be present at the pre-bid conference to discuss the Project. District will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Owner and Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective.
