Point of Light Conference

The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Points of Light Foundation, Inc., 600 Means Street, Suite 210, Atlanta, GA 30318 for a Bronze sponsorship during the 2017 National Conference on Volunteering and Service, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i). Points of Light Foundation, Inc., is the only organization who holds a national convention for individuals who are active within the volunteering and community service sector. A sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. CNCS helps more than 5 million Americans improve the lives of their fellow citizens through service. We invest in thousands of nonprofit and faith-based groups across the country through our programs, such as AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, the Social Innovation Fund, and the Volunteer Generation Fund. CNCS will participate in the National Conference in order to connect with other individuals who are involved in the volunteering and community service sector. This conference provides an effective venue to connect with individuals on a national level and to increase the number of volunteers that the agency recruits. This acquisition is being advertised under NAICS Code 813410, which has a size standard of $7.5 million dollars. This notice is not a request for proposals. Firms believing they have the capability to provide the above service must provide written notification to the Government point of contact listed below by no later than Monday, June 12, 2017 at 12:00 pm ET. Responses shall include supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. All responses received by the due date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to the Government point of contact Vanessa Taylor at vtaylor@cns.gov and shall reference notice number CNSHQ17T0031. Responses should include the firm's Dun and Bradstreet number and Tax Identification Number and the firm's business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS Code 813410, of $7.5 million dollars.
