1) The USGS Central Energy Resources Science Center's Microscope laboratory has a need to modify the current data parser VBA code to accommodate changes to the Point Count instrument report.

2) The solicitation number is 140G0226Q0082 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).

3) Award for this requirement will be made in accordance with the policies of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, along with applicable solicitation and evaluation procedures for this acquisition. The Government will make award to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror.

Quotes will be evaluated starting with the lowest price. If the lowest-priced quote is determined to be technically unacceptable, the Government will proceed to evaluate the next lowest-priced quote, and so on, until a technically acceptable offer is identified.

4) This solicitation is a SET ASIDE for Small Businesses. The associated NAICS Code is 541512 Computer Systems Design Services.
