Overview
This is the only notice that will be published for this requirement. This announcement is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and does not constitute a request for competitive quotes. 


The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to procure one hundred thirty (130) Polaris RANGER 1000XP NorthStar Premium Law Enforcement Packages. This requirement will be sole-sourced to Polaris Gov & Defense Direct.


Statutory Authority
The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements), based on:


  • A: Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition.
  • B: Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency’s requirements.
