The State of Washington, operating under the NASPO ValuePoint Cooperative Purchasing Program, has initiated a cooperative solicitation to establish Master Agreements for Police Radar/Lidar Speed Enforcement and Accident Reconstruction products and services. This initiative enables state and local law enforcement agencies, along with eligible public entities such as institutions of higher education, political subdivisions, territories, and the District of Columbia, to procure compliant speed enforcement devices and accident reconstruction goods and services from pre-vetted suppliers who meet National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Conforming Product List standards. The solicitation, identified as NASPO-ADT-162, was posted on September 1, 2024, with responses due by August 31, 2027, and is designed to support a portfolio of up to nine qualified suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and compliance across participating jurisdictions. Eligible entities must adhere to their own state and local procurement regulations while leveraging this cooperative agreement, which streamlines procurement processes and promotes efficiency and consistency in acquiring critical law enforcement technology. The Lead State Administrator for Washington, Brad Stringfellow, oversees the agreement, supported by NASPO program and cooperative portfolio coordinators who facilitate national collaboration. The agreement remains active until the response deadlines expire, and supplier information will be updated on the public portfolio page as agreements are finalized, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all eligible participants throughout the term.
