Polk 213 Bridge Construction

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) is soliciting proposals for the construction of two new bridge crossings and associated approaches on 213 Road in Polk County, Arkansas, specifically at the Robinson Creek and Rolling Fork locations. The project is structured into two distinct phases: Phase 1 covers the design and construction of the new crossings, while Phase 2 involves the completion of approaches and final stabilization and erosion mitigation. While AGFC will handle the demolition of existing bridges, the selected contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and permits. The anticipated project start date is January 1, 2027, with the upper crossing structure required to be completed within 90 calendar days once notching begins. Qualified contractors must hold a current Arkansas Contractor's License and possess at least five years of experience installing bridges with a minimum 40-foot span. All work must strictly adhere to the Build America, Buy America Act and AGFC Standard Specifications. Proposals are due by October 21, 2026, and must include a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid, a visual rendering of the design, and a detailed itemized bid schedule. The award process is based on a consensus score evaluating technical and cost components, and AGFC reserves the right to award phases independently or self-perform Phase 2.
