Each kit, comprising Parts A and B to yield 1.89 liters (2 quarts), must be packaged in compliance with MIL-STD-2073-1E and RP001 DLA Packaging Requirements, with contents cushioned to prevent movement and damage. The kit must be enclosed in a single box or multiple boxes clearly marked as part of a set (e.g., 1 of 2), and each box must include an itemized contents list. Packaging options include an E6 box with dunnage, a heavy-weight plastic bag with heat-seal or blister pack methods for small quantities, or bonded cans using adhesive disks or heat-shrink methods to form a singular unit. All containers must meet hazardous material standards if applicable, using D3 boxes for non-hazardous and 4G boxes for hazardous materials. Each assembled kit must bear a MIL-STD-129 label with a 2D Data Matrix barcode and special marking code 33 indicating Type II shelf life. The product has a 12-month shelf life extendable per RS001 requirements.
