Pool CO2 Tank Rental

Charles County Public Schools is soliciting sealed bids under ITB PCTR-2627 for the rental, delivery, replacement, and refill of CO2 tanks to support pool water chemistry operations at North Point, Henry E. Lackey, and St. Charles high schools. The contract is a firm fixed price agreement for one year, with services provided on an as needed basis. The scope includes the delivery of 50 pound CO2 tanks to all three sites every four to six weeks, with specific quantities of seven tanks for North Point, eight for Henry E. Lackey, and six for St. Charles. Additionally, the contractor must manage a 450 gallon permanent storage tank at St. Charles High School on a 21 day replenishment cycle. Qualified bidders must have at least five years of experience in similar work and be licensed to do business in the State of Maryland. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the submitted grand total. Submissions must be sealed and include a signed original and a USB copy by December 10, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. local time. Required documentation includes a business relationship affidavit, specifications and pricing, references, and a W-9. The contractor is responsible for all transportation and disposal of packaging materials and must provide delivery tickets for every transaction. Payment terms are net 30 days via ACH or VEPS following inspection and acceptance by the agency.
