Poucher Hall Roof Replacement

STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK NOTICE TO BIDDERS                                                 State University of New York at Oswego will receive electronic secured bids via the e-builder platform for Project No. 1183-02 Titled: Poucher Hall Roof Replacement until 1:00PM local time on December 3, 2024.  Proposals are to be submitted electronically via e-builder (https://gateway.app.e-builder.net/app/bidders/landing?accountid=c1007a87-19e9-483f-98b2-599731ba4506&projectid=45ba555c-7288-4999-b0db-82b1e8d7723a&bidpackageid=22570a8a-8a31-481b-a922-e8e6c76c6ebf ). Proposals will be opened and read aloud via a conference call, with the bid results to be posted online thereafter.  The original bid package is to be mailed to SUNY Oswego, Purchasing Department, 402 Culkin Hall, Oswego, NY 13126. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 81 days after the Notice to Proceed. Scope of Work: Removal of the existing fully adhered black EPDM and tapered insulation roofing system down the existing gypsum plank roof deck. Roof replacement will consist of a Modified SBS membrane system over polyisocyanurate flat and tapered insulation system. Demolition of existing curbs for opening not in use in the existing gypsum plank deck may be infilled along with other abandoned openings which are no longer required. Raising of the existing roof edge will be required to accommodate the tapered insulation system and a new roof edge metal system will be installed to complete the watertight system. Mechanical units will be raised and reset on new, or existing, insulated curbs as indicated. Minimal electrical modifications are required as indicated   A non-mandatory walkthrough to discuss the project has been scheduled for Tuesday November 19, 2024 at 10:00am to fully understand the parameters and constraints which affect the preparation of the bid for the same.  Interested parties should meet at Poucher Hall on the SUNY Oswego Campus.     Contractors should submit all questions no later than five (5) business days after the virtual Q&A.
