AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: Please disregard the Ariba Discovery posting response deadline closing time and CanadaBuys posting closing time. All required supporting documentation and bid submission must be submitted by May 8, 2024 at 2:00pm EDT. All bids submitted after 2:00 EDT will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has a requirement for the supply of one Aerosol Magee Scientific DRI-2015 (SERIES 2) Multi-wavelength Carbon Analyzer, or equivalent to be used in the analysis of atmospheric carbon and its impact on global warming. The instrument must separately determine elemental carbon (EC) and pyrolytic carbon (PC) during analysis of quartz filters to accurately separate the EC contained in the sample and the PC generated during the analysis. The analyzer must also estimate the amount of brown carbon (BrC) on the sample filters to address the constraining of the separation between OC and EC in samples loaded with biomass smoke, containing water-soluble and light absorbing organic compounds.
