Pre-Solicitation Notice COCESS

Altus Air Force Base is releasing a Presolicitation Notice for the Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS). Contractor is to set up and maintain a Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS) in government facilities and will be responsible for furnishing Civil Engineer-related supplies for use on Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Typical categories of supplies will include: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, paint, HVAC, hardware, and related supplies for repair, maintenance, or remodeling of new or existing facilities/property. Contract performance is for a basic period of 01 April 2011 through 30 September 2011 with four (4) one-year option periods. 97 CONS/LGCB plans to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS) no earlier than 15 Dec 2010. Additional information concerning this project, to include details for a scheduled site visit, will be introduced at that time. This acquisition is expected to be a small business set-aside conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13 and 15, Simplified Acquisitions and Contracting by Negotiation. The NAICS code for this acquisition is: 444130. This pre-solicitation notice is not to be construed as a formal solicitation (Request for Proposal (RFP)). The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice. This notice is for information and planning purposes only. The Government will not provide reimbursement of costs associated with any documentation or communication submitted in response to this notice.
