PREP KIT, SKIN

The contract requires the procurement of PREP KIT, SKIN, identified by NSN 6515-01-706-6665, consisting of sterile, non-latex materials designed for patient safety and comfort during various medical procedures. Each kit contains two povidone iodine paint sponge sticks, two sterile cotton tip applicators, one non-latex powder-free exam glove size 8, two E-Z scrub surgical sponges, two sterile absorbent towels measuring 19.5 x 22 inches, and two sterile drapes measuring 17 x 19 inches. The kits must be packaged in sealed unit containers and shipped in commercial exterior shipping containers in compliance with Medical Marking Standard No. 1, superseding MIL-STD-129, and must feature clear labeling including the NSN, manufacturer, CAGE code, date of manufacture, expiration or retest date, and contract or lot number. No more than four months may have elapsed from the date of manufacture to delivery, and the product must maintain a shelf life of 15 months. Manufacturing and labeling must comply with FDA regulations under 21 CFR Part 807, including device listing, accurate labeling, and Good Manufacturing Practices, along with Regulation 878.4800 Class I requirements. Delivery is required within five days after award, with FOB destination terms, and all shipments must meet DLA Packaging Requirements for Procurement and be palletized accordingly. The contracting agency is the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain MD SURG FSF, issuing the solicitation under SPE2DS-26-T-110W with a response deadline of June 8, 2026.
