Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) Kiosk Project RFP 2026-05

The District of Tumbler Ridge is soliciting proposals for the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) Kiosk Project (RFP 2026-05), which involves the professional services required to transition three existing underground PRV stations to standardized above-ground kiosk facilities. The scope of work includes geotechnical investigations, surveying, detailed civil, mechanical, and electrical design, SCADA and automation integration, and the preparation of tender-ready documentation. The successful consultant must maintain commercial general liability insurance of at least 5 million dollars per occurrence and professional errors and omissions insurance of 2 million dollars per claim and annual aggregate. Key deliverables include Class B cost estimates, separate construction tender packages for each site, and compliance with Northern Health Waterworks permitting requirements. The project is managed by the Director of Operations and Infrastructure and requires adherence to EGBC professional standards and WorkSafeBC requirements.
