Preventative Maintenance Agreement

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hereby issues this notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Unity Lab Services, 5225 Verona Road, Madision WI 53711. Unity Lab Services is a subsidiary of Thermo Scientific; their technicians are periodically trained on Thermo instruments specifically, they have access to all genuine Thermo replacement parts, and they provide propriety software updates that are unavailable to other service vendors. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documentation is available and telephone request will not be accepted. However, sources may submit despciptive narratives fully documenting their capabliites to perform the services stated above, which will be considered by the agency. A determination to compete this procurement based on response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that an award will be issued to Unity Lab Services, within approximately fifteen(15) days after the date of closing, unless the Government determines that any other organization has the capacity to meet this requirement. All responses must be received no later than 12:00pm ET on 8/5/2013 to the attention of Sonia Nance via email at Sonia.Nance@FDA.HHS.GOV
