This Presolicitation Notice is issued in accordance with FAR 5.101(c) and serves as a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract. This is not a request for competitive quotes.



The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to award a sole source purchase order with BioAnalytical Instruments (UEI:


 W5KQZVDTKVK6) using FAR Part 12 procedures. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain preventative maintenance services for the diagnostic equipment at the LAVECEN in the Dominican Republic. The Statement of Work, sole source justification and solicitation are attached.



This notice is not a competitive solicitation. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation or capability statement, which will be considered by the government. Any party that believes it can meet this requirement should provide a capability statement for the Government’s review.



A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
