The Preventative Maintenance contract is a support plan for the Q Exactive Mass Spectrometer which includes, but is not limited to:
1 Service Engineer, labor, travel, and parts required for unlimited corrective maintenance visits on demand. Once the maintenance is completed to the satisfaction of the supervising scientists, a document detailing the service call must be submitted to the technical authority and signed by both parties.
2. Phoned-in technical support inquiries with a response time of 48h; certified service engineer will conduct diagnosis and Corrective Maintenance procedures using digital remote support tools.
3. The computer that was purchased from Thermo Fisher Scientific and which is required for the operation of the mass spectrometer must be covered under the service contract.
4. Software and firmware updates upon request and in conjunction with a scheduled visit (updates are defined as changes of the existing software version that are intended to improve its performance)
