The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Moore Air Base in Edinburg, TX, is seeking sources capable of performing monthly preventative maintenance service(s) (2x per month) for service for two (2) Large boilers and two (2) small boilers. The maintenance shall cover chemicals, laboratory analysis (hardness, solids, pH, and p04), annual inspections and tube brushings and the submission of written reports of all services to the Contracting Officer (CO) and the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) monthly. Contractor shall also be responsible for the maintenance on several boilers that shall have their closed loop system inspected and treated for corrosion as needed. A detailed listing of the manufacturers will be provided as part of the solicitation package. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. The contract period of performance will consist of a base period with the option to extend for an additional 4 - 1 year options. Base will be the date of award through September 30, 2014.
