The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Eastern Business Service Center (EBSC) is seeking a contractor to provide all services and technical support for a one year preventative maintenance Service Contract for 1) BDFACalibur 4, 2) BD High Throughput Sampler, 3) LSR II Preconfigured Laser to support research needs at the Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC) in Orient Point, NY. All services are to be performed in a BSL 3,4 Laboratory. The Eastern Business Service Center (EBSC) is issuing this sources sought request as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to provide the supervision, labor, materials, plant, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide the aforementioned services for PIADC. The result of this market research will contribute to determining whether there are adequate sources are available from which to receive competitive proposals. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to be assigned to this research is 811219. Submission Instructions: Interested parties, who consider themselves qualified to provide the product as detailed are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 4:00 PM (CDT) January 14th, 2013. If your organization has appropriate qualifications and capacity to provide this product, please provide the following information: (1) A complete and current record of your Central Contractor Registration (CCR) which includes DUNS number, Organization name, address, contact name, email address, Web site address, telephone number, type of organization, small business type (if any), etc; (2) A list of previous customers (Federal Preferred) which were provided products similar in nature (3) A complete description of all assets/experience/personnel which will contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona-fide capability to fulfill the requirement.
