The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) by the City of Harrisonburg, Virginia (City) is to solicit sealed proposals from interested vendors (Offeror) to provide preventive maintenance and repair services for fire apparatus and other special service response vehicles operated by the Harrisonburg Fire Department (HFD).
Services rendered by the Contractor shall take place at either the location of the fire apparatus (fire station), the City of Harrisonburg Central Garage, or the Contractor’s service facility. The Contractor’s service facility shall not be located more than seventy-five (75) road miles from 80 Maryland Avenue, Harrisonburg, VA 22801. Proposals offering 100% of the work being performed at City of Harrisonburg facilities will not be accepted.
