Solicitation # SPE8ES-26-T-2869
Solicitation SPE8ES-26-T-2869 is a Request for Quotations issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Construction and Equipment for the procurement of a medium-bodied, fast-setting cement designed specifically for bonding ABS plastic. The requirement is for two pints of the adhesive, identified by NSN 8040-01-235-2642 and Lockheed Martin part number P6185-1. The items are intended to support the Slovak Republic, with a required delivery date of February 27, 2026, and a delivery timeline of 20 days after order. Shipping is FOB Origin, with both inspection and acceptance also occurring at the origin. The adhesive is classified as a hazardous material with a non-extendable shelf life of 36 months. Consequently, the contractor must comply with strict safety and packaging standards, including the submission of Safety Data Sheets and Hazardous Communication Standard labels in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1200 and Federal Standard No. 313-E. Packaging must follow MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, ensuring products are delivered in original manufacturer containers to prevent leakage or chemical interaction. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and adherence to various FAR and DFARS clauses regarding cybersecurity, domestic preferences, and the prohibition of covered telecommunications equipment.
