Domestic goat (Capra hircus) 2. What array is being processed? There is one chip from Illumina for goats that I have seen called different things. Here are the possible names, all describe the same chip with 53,000 SNPs. Illumina Caprine 50K, also called Illumina Goat 50K or Illumina Caprine 60K or Illumina Goat 60K. 3. Are DNA extractions required for the samples or are DNA samples submitted from the USDA? USDA is providing 300ng genomic DNA dried down. 4. If DNA is submitted, are quality metrics performed before submission or is the contractor expected to perform the QC after receipt? Contractor is expected to perform QC after receipt. 5.
