The United States Coast Guard, through its Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, has issued a Sources Sought Notice for the procurement of a Gas Turbine Engine under solicitation number 70Z03826IH0000034, with a North American Industry Classification System code of 336413. This notice is solely for market research purposes and does not constitute a solicitation, request for proposals, or any obligation by the Government to award a contract. The agency is seeking information from potential vendors regarding their capability to supply the items listed in Attachment 1, with the goal of identifying qualified sources and assessing marketplace availability before considering future procurement actions. Respondents are required to provide company details including name, address, phone number, and point of contact, along with answers to specific questions regarding business size, certification status, OEM authorization, GSA schedule listing, prior government usage, lead times, and quantity discounts. Responses must be submitted via email by July 24, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. EDT to the designated email addresses and must reference the solicitation number in the subject line. The notice explicitly states that submission of a response does not qualify a company as a prospective offeror, nor does it guarantee inclusion on any future offeror list or receipt of a solicitation. Any future acquisition will require a separate, formal response to a solicitation published on SAM.gov, and responses to this notice are not substitutes for official proposal submissions. The agency is exploring potential sources to inform its planning and decision-making process, and while no set-aside is currently planned, vendors are encouraged to disclose their status as small, disadvantaged, women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, or HUBZone-certified businesses to aid in market analysis.
