AI Contract Overview
The United States Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center, Medium Range Recovery Procurement Division, is conducting a sole source acquisition under Basic Ordering Agreement SPE4A1-22-G-0005 for aircraft components used on MH-60T helicopters. The procurement consists of five supports, five pans, and ten clips, which are required for routine maintenance due to failure, corrosion, or damage. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, is identified as the only available source because they own the proprietary technical data, specifications, and drawings required for manufacture. These items are approved by the USCG Aircraft Configuration Control Board and carry an Acquisition Method Code of 3, necessitating direct acquisition from the manufacturer. The requirement is unrestricted, and the small business set aside has been dissolved. Delivery is requested within 200 days after receipt of order, with early shipments encouraged. Inspection and acceptance will be performed at the origin by the Defense Contract Management Agency. While this is a sole source intent, the government will consider quotations from other responsible sources submitted by 2:00 PM EDT on September 4, 2026. Award will be made based on a determination of fair and reasonable pricing. The solicitation is tracked under number 70Z03826QJ0000273, with NAICS code 336413 and Product Service Code 1560.
