INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF TECHNICALLY CAPABLE AND OTHERWISE RESPONSIBLE FIRMS THAT WOULD BE INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING OFFERORS FOR THIS ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION. Columbus AFB is conducting a market survey and is seeking qualified sources for Professional Architect-Engineer Design Services. The awarded firm will provide design services on an "on-call" basis over a period of four years. Bidding firms must be registered/licensed to perform Architecture and Engineering services in the state of Mississippi. The required licensed disciplines include Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The services required include review and extension of Government Furnished Designs (GFD) from conceptual design through Design Development and the production of Construction Documents. The selected firm will also meet directly with facility user groups to define program requirements and revise GFDs accordingly. The firm will be responsible for all applicable code, standards and reference compliance while incorporating input from scheduled government reviews. The term of the contract is for one 12-month basic period with three 12-month option periods. The NAICS code is 541310 and the small business size standard is $4.5 million. Firms who have the necessary experience in architectural design should submit a statement of capabilities, which is not a proposal, but rather a short statement regarding the firm's expertise and experience. This announcement is open to Small Businesses within a 300 mile radius of Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. Firms should identify their radius and indicate their eligibility for SBA programs, whether they are a Small Business, SBA-certified HUBZone, SBA-certified 8(a) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).
