Professional Architectural Services

The City of Pocatello is soliciting responses from qualified licensed architects to provide professional design and engineering services for a new golf clubhouse at the Riverside Golf Course in Idaho. The project scope involves the construction of a three-level facility featuring approximately 3,300 square feet per level, consisting of underground cart storage, a main level, and a second level. Key architectural requirements include a pro shop, dining and snack bar facilities, ADA-accessible restrooms, a dressing suite, office and meeting spaces, indoor and outdoor patios, landscaping, signage, and energy-efficient HVAC systems. Additionally, the project requires a redesign and expansion of the existing parking lot. The selected firm will be responsible for the full design lifecycle, including design development, construction documents, and bid assistance. This procurement is conducted under Idaho Code 67-2320 using a Qualification Based Selection process, meaning the award is based on technical merit and qualifications rather than the lowest price. Evaluation criteria include the firm's description, past performance on similar municipal projects, the qualifications of key staff, familiarity with applicable laws, project approach, and the proposed schedule. Proposals must be submitted as sealed physical copies to the Pocatello City Clerk by 10:00 a.m. MST on December 13, 2024. All participating firms and assigned personnel must hold valid Idaho architecture licenses. Final contract terms and fees will be negotiated following the selection of the highest-scoring firm.
