The City of Winnipeg is seeking professional consulting services for the design and construction administration of a new 3,110 square meter, three-bay fire paramedic station on a 1.34-acre site in Waverley West. The scope encompasses full-service delivery including schematic design, detailed design, contract document preparation, construction administration, and post-construction services, all aligned with the City’s Project Management Manual and associated templates. Consultants are expected to apply industry best practices and are formally tasked with identifying any discrepancies between the City’s manual and standard professional norms, particularly regarding revisions in Sections 9.19 and 9.20.1 of the manual as outlined in Addendum #8. The project must comply with the City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy and Universal Design Policy, and if public engagement is required, it must adhere to the municipality’s Public Engagement Guidelines. The total contract budget is set at $550,000, and all bidding documents are accessible via Merx.com, where applicable fees may apply. The solicitation, identified as 93-2026, was posted on May 13, 2026, with responses due by May 27, 2026. The contracting authority is Drew Murray, the City’s designated point of contact, and the project is being managed under the City of Winnipeg’s infrastructure and asset management framework, though the official listing incorrectly attributes the agency to the Government of Canada. Bidders must ensure compliance with all policy and procedural requirements outlined by the City to be eligible for award.
