Professional Land Surveying Services

The City of Guelph is seeking a licensed Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS) under solicitation 26-090 to provide professional land surveying services for multiple parkland parcels owned by the Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA), including Herb Markle Park, Heritage Park, and Silvercreek Park. The scope of work involves performing Land Registry Office title searches, measuring existing survey monuments, preparing and revising draft reference plans, and depositing final registered reference plans with the Land Registry Office. The project is expected to commence upon contract award and must be completed by January 2027. To be eligible, bidders must provide proof of being a licensed OLS for at least 10 years and submit three references for similar municipal services completed within the last three years. The contract requires comprehensive insurance coverage, including five million dollars in commercial general liability and two million dollars in automobile liability. The successful consultant must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Payment will be made within 28 days of receiving a proper invoice, which must be accompanied by monthly status reports. Tenders must be submitted electronically by September 28, 2026, and will be evaluated based on the lowest stipulated subtotal contract amount.
