Professional On-Call Airport Engineering Services

The City of Hazlehurst, Georgia, is seeking a qualified aviation consulting firm to enter into a five-year multi-year Master Agreement for professional on-call airport planning, engineering, architectural, and construction inspection and administration services. The selected consultant will support the Hazlehurst Municipal Airport Capital Improvement Plan for the FY2027-2031 period, performing tasks such as design, bidding, negotiation, and resident inspection on an assignment-by-assignment basis. All plans must be stamped by a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia, and firms must hold current Georgia Department of Transportation pre-qualifications in Area Classes 2.09a (Airport Design), 2.09b (Airport Electrical), and 8.02 (Airport Construction, Administration, and Observation). This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process where selection is based on firm and personnel experience, relevant project history, geographical location, and familiarity with FAA and GDOT Aviation Programs. Submissions must be limited to twenty-five pages and must not include any price proposals, overhead rates, or cost information. Interested parties must submit four sealed copies of their Statement of Qualifications to the Airport Manager by October 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
