The Dianne Feinstein International Terminal originally opened in 2000, and includes Boarding Area A (BAA), Boarding Area G (BAG), and International Terminal Building (ITB). Many components of the smoke control and fire alarm systems are reaching the end of their useful life and don't meet current building codes and technology best practices. The design-build Project scope includes replacement of aging system components, modifications to smoke control and fire alarm systems to meet current building codes. The work is anticipated to be implemented in phases to minimize impacts to Airport operations, and comprehensive testing of the fire alarm system. PDP Contractor shall provide the services described in Appendix B, Scope of Services. Appendix B shall be used as a general guide and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of services that may be assigned to the PDP Contractor.
