PROJECT SUMMARY The Government of Canada, through the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD), is undertaking a security enhancement project at the Permanent Mission of Canada to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland to align with current Physical Security Standards. The Project, entitled ‘Physical Security Repairs at The Permanent Mission of Canada to the United Nations in Geneva’ will be delivered via a Design-Build construction contract. The Project’s scope of work includes: i. Replacement of 100 linear meters of perimeter security fencing with a more resilient security fencing; ii. Replacement of the existing vehicular gate with a more resilient gate; iii. Construction of, at minimum, 30 m2 guardhouse; iv. Implementation of temporary physical security measures during construction activities; and v. Demolition, earthworks, roadworks, grading and drainage, and landscaping. OBJECTIVE To support this initiative, DFATD is seeking to retain the services of a qualified Architectural and Engineering (A&E) Consultant or an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to provide comprehensive services throughout the design and construction phases until the post-construction phase of the Project. The Consultant is responsible for delivering technical expertise, project coordination, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and timelines.
