The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is soliciting quotations for the procurement of propulsion shaft sleeves used in ship propulsion systems. The contract encompasses four distinct types of copper-nickel alloy sleeves designed for different sections of the propulsion shaft, each specified by National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and detailed Coast Guard drawings. The items include forward and aft stern tube sleeves as well as forward and aft end strut sleeves, with quantities ranging from two to five units per item. Each sleeve must be individually packaged and marked in accordance with strict Coast Guard packaging requirements, as standard commercial packaging is unacceptable. All items are to be manufactured by the United States Coast Guard Yard and delivered F.O.B. to the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center in Baltimore, Maryland. This procurement will be awarded as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 331420, using simplified acquisition procedures with a firm fixed price contract. The award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable offer submitted by responsible sources, with a submission deadline of June 15, 2026. Participants must be registered in SAM and provide a valid DUNS number and Tax Information Number. Compliance with various FAR clauses and Homeland Security Acquisition Regulation provisions is mandatory, including restrictions related to subcontracting, small business participation, and foreign corporation status. The solicitation emphasizes the need for adherence to all technical, packaging, and regulatory requirements to be considered responsive.
