URS, a prime contractor of the U.S. Government, has a requirement for a subcontractor to provide laundry service to include daily pick up at 8:00 am and delivery back to the same location at 3:30 pm Mondays through Saturdays. Items to be cleaned consist of two categories: Line Item 001 - cotton goods which will include cotton coveralls, tee shirts, men's/women's underwear, bras, scrub top/pants, socks, thermal tops/bottoms, bath towels and washcloths. These items will be weighed upon pick up and return, and will be invoiced according to weight. Line Item 002 - foul weather gear which will require occasional cleaning and include coats, overalls, rain jackets and rain pants. These items will be invoiced separately by item and count. Daily Pick up and Delivery Tickets (Attachment 20) will be used to determine amounts to be invoiced. Please note that Attachment 20 has been inadvertently omitted from the solicitation and will be added as a solicitation amendment at a later date. This will be a Fixed Unit Price Requirements Subcontract. The period of performance will be through September 30, 2012. Telephone calls associated with this solicitation will not be acknowledged or returned. All questions related to the solicitation must be submitted in writing by February 1, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Answers to the questions will be added by Solicitation Amendment. Proposals that are submitted that do not contain ALL submittal requirements identified in Section L, paragraph 9 will be considered non-responsive.
