A. Amendment 0001 to Solicitation 1333MK22QNMAN0021 is to provide questions and answers. Q1. Will the Vessel arrive under Diplomatic Clearance? A1. YES Q2. Does your van and sedan (vehicles) require drivers? A2. No, Per State Department website - U.S. Citizens are entitled to drive in Portugal with their U.S. issued driver's license for a period no to exceed 185 days, provided they are not legal residents Therefore the government intend to operate the vehicles using the United States issued driver's license. Q3. HAZMAT: Would it be possible to know approx. weight and volume? A4. The HAZMAT is listed more as a "just in case" requirement, and quantities are TBD based on mission needs. The maximum liquid volume would be 55 gallons (~200 liters), however I think it's extremely likely that we end up with more along the lines of 15 gallons (~50 liters), if that. The other HAZMAT item would be lithium Ion batteries for consumer electronics, and I don't expect this would be much more than a couple of pounds. It's also possible that we have no HAZMAT delivered while in the Azores. Either way, we would certainly advise the Agent as soon as possible if planning to ship HAZMAT to ensure they are prepared to accept delivery. B. All of the other terms and conditions remain the same. C. End of Amendment 0001.
