The purpose of this RFQ amendment 0001 is to:
1- Provide important site visit instructions under Section 7.0 (Pages 6-8);
2- Answer vendors questions and provide additional installation details (See attachments);
3-Update the RFQ clauses;
4-Update quotes due time and date (See Sub-Section L1).

The contractor shall provide the requested products in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Brand name requirements: MERS already has one unit and the standardizing on Schneider Electric battery equipment maintains system interoperability, preserves the integrity of the existing UPS installation, minimizes lifecycle costs, and ensures continued manufacturer support for this mission-critical power system.
Brand name is required; no substitutions in product or quantity. Delivery and Performance shall be MERS Frederick, 4420 Buckeystown Pike, Frederick, Maryland 21704.
Questions shall be submitted sufficiently in advance and no later than Friday July 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET to permit the Government to respond, as appropriate. No additional questions will be entertained after that date/time.
